Presidential Prayer Team Update

WEEKLY PRAYER UPDATE - from The Presidential Prayer Team
April 1, 2010
Dear Prayer Member,
This time of year we remember and celebrate the single most important event in history. We believe according to the Scriptures, that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. His death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him, endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
God's salvation plan through Jesus Christ was completed at the cross. Our hope of eternal life began upon our Lord's victory over death. We celebrate Easter once a year -- but should live our lives remembering these events every day.

Please use this weekly prayer update and other prayer resources found on our website to encourage and inform you to keep praying for our country, its leaders and our military. Please notice our new feature below called Current Events Prayer Focus.
