Robbie Seay Band, the Houston-based act whose worshipful rock music has made fans of musician David Crowder, best-selling author Donald Miller (Blue Like Jazz), and thousands more, is sneak-previewing songs from its new album, GIVE YOURSELF AWAY, now until the project’s August 28 release date.
Check out Robbie Seay Band’s MySpace page every Friday beginning July 6 for new music and video blogs. The first weekly installment features the premiere of the song “Rise” plus an exclusive in-studio clip. GIVE YOURSELF AWAY can also be pre-ordered now at MusiChristian.com.
GIVE YOURSELF AWAY is the second release from Robbie Seay Band via Sparrow Records (Steven Curtis Chapman, Switchfoot), following up the acclaimed BETTER DAYS that ChristianityToday.com hailed for “combining the best qualities of David Crowder*Band, Bebo Norman, Coldplay, and Delirious.”
Crowder has said “Robbie Seay possesses one of the greatest voices bestowed upon the human race. It is strange and lush and excessively subtle with all the gravel of humanity resonating within it.”
Miller said, “I bought their CD, and I don’t think I took that think I took that think out of my CD player for two months. I actually went and bought four new speakers for my car, just to hear it better. These guys soothe me. There is something more than music here, and only one in a million bands can get to this place.”
