May the faith of Jesus Christ sustain you through this time of loss and sorrow.

I hope many people can learn from this tragic situation not to misuse the carpool lanes and sustain a safe rate of speed when operating their vehicles. To those who are drivers in california, we are not invincable we can die in what we think are safe vehicles. Driving is a gift not a right and we should charish it with love. The same love that we as christian brothers should give all our neighbors. Love your neighbor as yourself. Even on the highway.

Again, I know there is a significant loss to many people and some great families and children. My heart goes out to the family and the widow and fatherless children. May God be with you.
with the Love of Christ. Mike

this is the letter I posted at the harvest website and it was banned. Talk about hipocrits. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But it is our sin that can be used to turn others to Christ. Let He who is whithout sin cast the first stone. I am not casting stones or judgment. Just would like people to learn and change their ways. thanks for listening.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324689130276874862.post-42389562475699321932008-07-27T22:14:00.000-07:002008-07-27T22:14:00.000-07:00My husband just posted a comment on Harvest Blog a...My husband just posted a comment on Harvest Blog about people learning a lesson from this incident. Its very unfortunate for this to have happened. I feel for his wife and family. It was an irresponsible thing for him to do.
Harvest sensored the comment. freedom of speech?????Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324689130276874862.post-19652946384883104602008-07-27T22:04:00.000-07:002008-07-27T22:04:00.000-07:00The truth of the matter is that he was hauling ass...The truth of the matter is that he was hauling ass up the carpool lane alone which he obviously practiced often, according to his driving records, and slammed into the back of the right side of the trucks cushion. I know because I drove by the mangled wreck right after it happened and saw the dark tarp the caltrans guys threw over his smashed body in the car. The whole driver's side was like an crushed aluminum can. The damage to the truck was minimal, the cushion took most of the blow. The stretch of highway leading up to the accident scene is straight for a good mile and there were absolutely no visablity restrictions. Just my info.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324689130276874862.post-24422237677715430502008-07-27T16:28:00.000-07:002008-07-27T16:28:00.000-07:00I have read about his poor driving record... and, ...I have read about his poor driving record... and, granted, it probably contributed to his loss of life.

Still, he was a talented artist and, from all accounts, a loving husband and father.

We all have faults. His was reckless driving. But I wouldn't consider him evil. No way.

Let's just hope that our faults and weaknesses don't cause us to leave this planet prematurely...Dwaconhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07544514023626682777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324689130276874862.post-77859049416426066792008-07-27T13:24:00.000-07:002008-07-27T13:24:00.000-07:00My God, the Christians who are crying for Christop...My God, the Christians who are crying for Christopher Laurie are the biggest hypocrites. This guy has had 12 citiations for reckless driving, then he was driving at a very very high speed in the carpool lane. How many other laws does this guy get to break before someone says he was not a good person. The good pastor should have been preaching to his son rather than the world. Thank God only he lost his life and not some innocent family that was on the freeway. Comdemn evil where ever it exists. This guy was not a good guyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
